Hi, I’m Jess 👋

I love experimenting with cameras and film, and using them as tools to explore myself and the world around me.

I’m most interested in probing at the edges of things, where conflicting entities or ideas touch and overlap. These edges might be found, for example, in communities experiencing large cultural shifts, or in more hidden places within myself.

Throughout many of my projects are themes of connection to “home,” and of discovering or creating a sense of place.

Thanks for visiting the site! I hope you’ll find some of these ideas interesting to keep in mind as you explore and experiment in your own world.
